APCO, the world’s largest women and employee-owned global communication consultancy, has completed a capital raise supported by Monroe Capital and Citibank. Proceeds of the capital raise were used for a buyout of minority shareholdings held by an outside institutional investor. The partnership will also provide potential for additional capital, which APCO can use for growth, acquisition, and continued innovation to meet the changing demands of the marketplace and better service clients. United Group has acquired the Nova TV and Pop TV broadcasting operations of CME in a transaction valued at $258.1 million. The acquisition will see the Nova TV and Pop TV operate under Slovenia Broadband. The combined operations have reported LTM EBITDA for the period ended March 31 2017 of $13.8 million, representing an LTM EBITDA multiple of 18.7x.
