The acquisition of $18 per MPS share represents a 25 percent premium over the company’s January 23rd closing price. The transaction is valued at 9.6x MPS LTM EBITDA for the period ended September 30th 2016, and a reported 7.1x LTM EBITDA when including anticipated synergies.
