Gartner (NYSE:IT) will acquire CEB (NYSE:CEB) in a transaction valuing the company at $3.3 billion. The acquisition of $77.25 per CEB share represents a premium of 25 percent from the company’s January 4th closing price. CEB has reported LTM revenues for the period ended September 30th of $939 million and EBITDA of $193 million, representing an LTM revenue multiple of 3.5x and an LTM EBITDA multiple of 16.8.x.   The deal implies a 70 percent cash and 30 percent stock consideration for the offer.
