Blucora (Nasdaq:BCOR) has sold its online cables and electronics business Monoprice to China-based power cord manufacturer YFC-BonEagle Electronic Tech for $40 million in cash. The acquisition will provide YFC with an expanded customer base. Blucora originally acquired Monoprice in August 2013 for $180 million at a valuation of 12.2x EBITDA. Financial information was not disclosed.
