Credit card comparison and credit health management company CompareCards has been acquired by LendingTree in a transaction valued at $130 million. The transaction includes $85 million in cash at closing with contingent payments of $22.5 million each in 2017 and 2018. CompareCards has reported revenues for the nine month period ended September 30th of $54.1 million and EBITDA of $11.3 million, representing a 7.5x EBITDA multiple at closing.

Acxiom-owned LiveRamp will acquire data onboarding company Arbor and data supply side platform Circulate in a transaction valued at $140 million. The acquisition provides LiveRamp with an expanded publisher partnership network. Financial information was not disclosed.

Finland-based messaging startup Jongla has raised $5.3 million in a round of funding from private investors. The company will use the new round of funding for building out its geographic presence in Africa.

Emotion detection and facial gesture technology company FacioMetrics has been acquired by Facebook. The acquisition coincides with Facebook’s artificial intelligence research strategy initiative. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
