Cloud-based field service management company ServiceMax has been acquired by GE Digital for a reported $915 million. The acquisition will see ServiceMax integrated into GE Digital’s Predix Platform. ServiceMax has raised more than $200 million to date. Financial information was not disclosed.

Big data exploration architecture developer TidalScale has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Infosys. The company will use the new round of funding for expanding its engineering division while focusing on product development efforts.

Electronic design automation software developer Mentor Graphics (Nasdaq:MENT) will be acquired by Siemens in an all-cash transaction valued at $4.5 billion. The acquisition of $37.25 per Mentor share represents a premium of 21 percent over the company’s November 11th closing price. Mentor Graphics has reported LTM revenues for the period ended July 31st of $1.1 billion and EBITDA of $157 million, representing a 3.6x revenue multiple and 25.5x EBITDA multiple.
