Outsource healthcare professional staffing company Teamhealth (NYSE:TMH) will be acquired by Blackstone in a transaction valued at $6.1 billion including approximately $2.4 billion in debt. The acquisition of $43.50 per Teamhealth share represents a premium of 33 percent from the company’s October 3rd closing price. Teamhealth has reported LTM revenues of $4.1 billion and EBITDA of $389 million, representing a revenue multiple of 1.4x and an EBITDA multiple of 14.4x.
