Customer engagement and communications solutions company Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq:ININ) will be acquired by competitor Genesys Telecommunications for a reported $1.4 billion. The acquisition of $60.50 per Interactive Intelligence share represents a 36 percent premium over the company’s July 28th closing price. Interactive Intelligence has reported LTM revenues of $413 million, representing a revenue multiple of 3.4x.
