Univision will acquire Gawker Media out of a bankruptcy for a reported $135 million. Univision outbid Ziff Davis in the bankruptcy auction for Gawker assets, and the acquisition follows Univision’s recent investment in online satirical publication The Onion and acquisition of pop culture-focused broadcaster Fusion Media. Gawker Media financial information was not disclosed.
