A consortium of China-based investors led by Golden Brick Silk Road has acquired Opera’s internet browser assets for $600 million. The deal follows the termination of the publicly announced $1.2 billion takeover of the company. The acquisition does not include Opera’s Advertising, Games, or Television units. Opera’s internet browser assets reported LTM revenues of $149 million and EBITDA of $34 million.
