Gannett (NYSE:GCI) will acquire ReachLocal (Nasdaq:RLOC) in a transaction valued at $156 million. The acquisition of $4.60 per ReachLocal share represents a 188 percent premium over the company’s June 24th closing price, and will expand Gannett’s digital revenue by approximately 50 percent. ReachLocal has reported revenues of $320 million.
