Walmart has solid its China-based eCommerce arm Yihaodian to JD.com in an all-stock transaction amounting to five percent of JD.com’s total shares and valuing Yihaodian at $1.5 billion. The acquisition will see Walmart partner with JD.com through Yihaodian’s direct-to-retail business. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Tencent will acquire and 84.3 percent stake in Finland-based mobile games developer Supercell from SoftBank in a transaction valuing the company at $10.2 billion. The company has reported 2015 pre-tax profit of $960 million. The acquisition will strengthen Tencent’s mobile game portfolio.

China-based after-school tutoring mobile app Entstudy has raised $18.2 million in Series C funding led by Greenwoods Investment with participation from Tencent and Yuanxi Capital. The company will use the funding for expanding its presence internationally.

Travel search and promotions platform Voyat has been acquired by travel agency advertising tools developer Intent Media. The acquisition provides Intent Media with complementary offerings for its travel agency ad solutions suite. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

On-demand blood testing and personalized medicine company Iggbo has raised $13 million in Series A funding from Heritage Group. The company will use the new round of funding for expanding operations domestically.

Asset management industry consulting firm Casey Quirk has been acquired by Deloitte. The acquisition expands Deloitte’s asset management consulting practice while providing Casey Quirk with an expanded international presence. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

training

UK-based corporate training firm Lifetime Training Group has been acquired by Silverfleet Capital from Sovereign Capital for between a reported $175 million and $205 million. Lifetime has reported 2015 revenues of $63 million and the acquisition represents an EBITDA multiple of between 10x and 11x.
