Finland-based Digital Foodie, developer of a platform that enables grocers to provide on-demand solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Black Dragon Capital. The company will use the funding for expanding its presence in the US.

Market research and polling services provider Critical Insights will be acquired by competitor Digital Research. The acquisition provides Digital Research with an expanded presence in the healthcare and public policy sectors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NBCUniversal will acquire DreamWorks Animation in a transaction valued at a reported $3.8 billion. The offer price of $41 per DreamWorks share represents a more than 50 premium to the company’s April 26th closing price. DreamWorks has reported 2015 revenues of $915 million and EBITDA of $97 million.

Database performance monitoring platform VividCortex has raised $4.5 million in a round of funding led by New Enterprise Associates with participation from Battery Ventures. The company will use the funding for product development and sales initiatives.

Textura (NYSE:TXTR), a developer of collaboration and payment management solutions for the construction industry, will be acquired by Oracle for $663 million. The acquisition of $26 per Textura share represents a 30.7 percent premium over the company’s April 27th closing price. Textura has reported 2015 revenues of $87 million.

Patient care and data insights platform developer Gyrus Labs has been acquired by big data health analytics company CloudMedx. The acquisition will see Gyrus integrated into CloudMedx’s Analytics Platform. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Enterprise staffing software developer Erecruit has raised $10 million in a round of funding from North Bridge Growth Equity. The company will use the funding for customer experience, product development, and sales initiatives.

Infrastructure cost reduction technology developer Levyx has raised $5.4 million in Series A funding led by OCA Ventures with participation from Amino Capital. The company will use the funding for expanding its sales and marketing divisions.

Cloud infrastructure security company Evident.io has raised $15.7 million in Series B funding from Venrock. The company will use the new round of funding for expanding its offering beyond Amazon Web Services to other cloud provider platforms.

Ionic, provider of a software development kit for building mobile apps, has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding led by General Catalyst with participation from Arthur Ventures and Founder Collective. The company will use the funding for product development.

Marlin Equity Partners will acquire Teradata’s Marketing Application business for $90 million. The acquisition will provide the business with the resources for expanding operations. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TPG Growth has acquired a majority stake in UK-based staffing firm Frank Recruitment Group from Livingbridge. The acquisition provides Frank Recruitment with the resources for expanding operations internationally. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
