South Korea-based apartment listing service Zig Bang has raised $33 million in a round of funding led by Goldman Sachs with participation from Altos Ventures. The company will use the funding for expanding its presence internationally.

Japan-based online travel and restaurant reservation platform Ikyu will be acquired by Yahoo Japan for $822 million. The acquisition represents a 42 percent premium over Ikyu’s most recent share price of $19.8, and will allow Yahoo Japan to enter into new verticals. Ikyu has reported LTM revenues of $61 million and EBITDA of $22 million for the LTM period ended November 11th.

Sundar, operator of a platform for sourcing materials for the apparel industry, has raised $1.2 million in a round of funding led by New Enterprise Associates with participation from Techstars Ventures and Correlation Ventures. The company will use the funding for building out its sales and marketing teams.

China-based study mobile app developer Afanti has raised $60 million in Series B funding from Shenzen Capital Group. The company will use the funding for expanding its presence internationally while expanding its audience outside of primary and middle school markets.

GTCR-owned public relations software developer Cision will acquire PR Newswire from UBM for $841 million. The transaction includes $810 million in cash and $31 million in preferred equity, and the sale will allow UBM to focus on its events business. PR Newswire has reported 2014 revenues of $297 million.

France-based display ads marketing solutions provider Azalead has raised $4.9 million in a round of funding from Idinvest Partners. The company will use the funding for expanding operations while building out its product roadmap.

Data analytics and marketing assistant application developer MinHash has been acquired by Salesforce. The acquisition provides Salesforce with an expanded big data analytics offering. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Customer relationship management platform Pramata has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Volition Capital with participation from Argosy Capital and Peninsula Ventures. The company will use the funding for product development efforts.

FocusVision, a developer of technology solutions for the market research industry, will be acquired by private equity group EQT Mid Market. The acquisition will provide FocusVision with the resources for domestic and international expansion. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Sports performance data company Whoop has raised $3 million in a round of funding from India-based IT firm Infosys. The company will use the funding for expanding its presence in the quantifiable health space.

Search marketing agency Unique Influence has been acquired by MDC Partners. The acquisition provides Unique with the resources for expanding its services and will see the company folded into MDC’s Media Partners portfolio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Australia-based STW Communications Group will acquire WPP’s Australian and New Zealand Businesses for $467 million in stock. The transaction will increase WPP ownership in STW from 23.6 percent to 61.6 percent, and will see STW rebrand its name to align with WPP. STW will issue new shares to WPP at a 26.2 percent premium from where its shares closed on December 10th.

Mobile rewards solutions provider Perk.com has acquired mobile entertainment marketing platform Viggle in a transaction valuing the company $17.3 million. The acquisition provides Perk.com with an expanded mobile incentives portfolio.

Software platform operator ADLINK Technology has acquired data-connectivity platform PrismTech. The acquisition provides ADLINK with an expanded presence in the industrial internet-of-things space. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Vistair Systems, a developer of safety and compliance solutions to the airline industry, has raised $9.8 million in a round of funding from Synova Capital. The company will use the funding for expanding its presence internationally.

Infrastructure-as-a-service cloud provider Faction has raised $6 million in a round of funding from Meritage Funds and Sweetwater Capital. The company will use the funding for building out its product offerings.

Endpoint threat detection company SurfRight has been acquired by network security company Sophos. The acquisition provides Sophos with an expanded Malicious Traffic Detection offering. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

eDiscovery and document review services provider Consilio will acquire Huron Consulting Group’s legal practice Huron Legal for $112 million. The acquisition provides Consilio with expanded offerings for its international clients. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
