Microsoft will acquire Israel-based cybersecurity company Secure Islands in a transaction valued at more than $100 million. The acquisition is Microsoft’s 3rd Israel-based cybersecurity acquisition of the year. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HP will sell its network security business TippingPoint to security software company Trend Micro for $300 million. The acquisition expands Trend Micro’s customer base and will see TrippingPoint integrated into the company’s network security operations. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Revenue cycle outsourcing firm Xtend Healthcare has been acquired by loan management and asset recovery company Navient. Xtend has reported revenues of $70 million and the acquisition provides Navient with an expanded presence in the health care payments sector.
