Mobile business communications platform Mast has raised $7 million in a round of funding from FirstMark Capital participation from DFJ, Eniac Ventures, Harrison Metal, and Initialized Ventures. The company will use the funding for expanding headcount.

China-based social media marketing management startup ActSocial has been acquired by France-based social media intelligence company Linkfluence. The acquisition provides Linkfluence with an expanded international presence. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

UK-based creative agency August Media has been acquired by Publicis. The acquisition will see August integrated into Publicis UK and combined with content division Publicis Blueprint. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Marketing agency Ansira has acquired digital marketing services and analytics agency SQ1 in a transaction valued between $50 million and $60 million.  Ansira will have reported combined revenues of $125 million, and the acquisition expands the company’s customer engagement solutions and analytics capabilities. Development and operations software developer Ansible has been acquired by Red Hat (NYSE:RHT) for more than $100 million. The acquisition provides Red Hat with IT infrastructure and scaled application capabilities. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
