Analytics and consumer messaging platform developer Odysii has been acquired by retail solutions provider Gilbarco Veeder-Root. The acquisition provides Gilbraco with an expanded in-store sales solution. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

SteelBrick, developer of a quote-to-cash application for Salesforce, has raised $48 million in a round of funding led by Institutional Venture Partners with participation from Emergence Capital, Salesforce Ventures, and Shasta Ventures. Social intelligence company DataRank has been acquired by social media analytics firm Simply Measured. The acquisition provides Simply Measured with an expanded analytics and measurement offering. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
