The acquisition will provide Rakuten with a tool for analyzing its eCommerce data to tie user identity across devices in an attempt to help marketers apply similar targeting for mobile and desktop. Data analytics firm Quid, which allows companies to accelerate research and insight, has raised $39 million in Series D funding led by Liberty Interactive Corporation with participation from ARTIS Ventures, Buchanan Investments, Subtraction Capital, and Tiger Partners. Enterworks, a provider of solutions for transforming product information into content for multi-channel sales, has been acquired by Black Dragon Capital.
