Sparefoot, provider of a marketplace for finding and booking self-storage, has raised $33 million in a round of funding led by Revolution Growth with participation from Insight Venture Partners and Monkfish Equity. Digital-first music talent app developer StarMaker has raised $6.5 million in Series B funding from Raine Ventures with participation from Crosscut Ventures, Three Bridge Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, iGlobe Partners, and GREE International. Broadcast network Star India has acquired the Screen brand, a weekly movie entertainment publication, from India Express Group. Israel-based Algorithmic Research, a provider of digital signature solutions, has been acquired by cloud based electronic signature solution DocuSign. The acquisition will enhance the capabilities of Docusign’s digital transaction management platform. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Board intelligence management software developer Enlight has raised $1.4 million in a round of funding from Clarkston Consulting and Fairent Advisors. The company will use the new round of funding for product development, expanding its marketing reach, and enhancing sales efforts.

Talent assessment platform Kira Talent has raised $1.2 million in a round of funding from Relay Ventures. The company will use the new round of funding for refining its platform and investing in sales and marketing services focused on the academic channel.
