The company has raised $25 million to date and will use the new round of funding for adding services to its product.

UK-based Borro, developer of an online platform for luxury asset-backed lending, has raised $19.5 million in a round of funding led by OurCrowd and Rocket Internet with participation from Canaan Partners, Eden Ventures, and Augmentum Capital. The company has raised over $200 million to date and will use the new round for growing across the US and UK.

Food delivery business Eat24, which competes with GrubHub and Delivery.com, has been acquired by Yelp for $134 million in cash and stock. The acquisition increases Yelp’s contact point with an increased number of restaurants while providing it with another revenue stream outside of its core listings business.

Gaming startup Hammer & Chisel has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding from Tencent and Benchmark Capital. The company will use the new round for bringing high end mobile games to emerging markets internationally.

France-based mobile advertising company Appsfire has been acquired by mobile ad tech company Mobil Network Group.  The acquisition will provide Appsfire with scale as it looks to capture a larger share of the app install market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company has raised $20 million to date and will use the new round for expanding its product line and team.

The company will use the new round of funding for developing its visibility through targeted marketing operations, accelerating its distribution strategy and partnerships, and doubling its workforce.

Open source business intelligence solutions provider Pentaho Corporation has been acquired by information infrastructure provider Hitachi Data Systems for an estimated $500 million. The acquisition marks Hitachi’s expansion into analytics. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Italy-based Map2App, developer of a platform for building travel guide apps, has been acquired by Bravofly Rumbo Group. The acquisition will allow Map2App to develop its product while focusing on other mobile projects. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
