Datanyze, a developer of prospecting tools for sales professionals, has acquired digital competitive sales and marketing intelligence provider LeadLedger. Datanyze has recently raised capital from IDG Ventures and Google Ventures and the acquisition will allow the company to expand its overall technology coverage, specifically in the advertising space. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bloomsbury Publishing has acquired UK-based Osprey Publishing, a military and natural history publisher, from Alcuin Capital Partners, for $7.1 million in cash and stock. Osprey will operate within Bloomsbury’s Special Interest Publishing, and the acquisition increases Bloomsbury’s presence in the US and niche interests markets.

Bina Technologies, which provides a big data platform for centralized management and processing of next generation sequencing data, has been acquired by Switzerland-based Roche Holdings. The acquisition will allow Bina to accelerate product development and global commercialization of its Enterprise software system while developing a solution for Roche sequencing systems. China-based application performance management and IT monitoring services provider Cloudwise has raised $15 million in Series B funding from Sequoia Capital. The company had previously raised and undisclosed amount of capital from Gobi Ventures and will use the new funding for spreading geographically while hiring new talent.

Ireland-based payment technology firm 3V has been acquired by SafeCharge, a provider of payment services, risk management, and IT solutions for online businesses, for $17.7 million. The acquisition coincides with SafeCharge’s strategy of moving into new verticals and delivering innovative payment technologies.
