The company will use the new capital to expand into new markets and improve business operations.

Italy-based Cortilia, which provides an online local grocery marketplace, has raised $1.5 million in a round of funding led by Programma 101. The company plans to use the new capital for expanding operations and consolidating its market position domestically.

Virtual wine shop Wine.com.br has acquired Giran, an ecommerce and ERP solutions provider. The acquisition will augment the investments Wine.com has made in its sales platform.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Bad Juju Games, a developer of games and middleware tools, has acquired Desura, a provider of digital distribution services for games, from Linden Lab. With the acquisition Bad Juju plans to launch a new client application and a cross platform service for developers to sell their games through its store. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

China-based dating app provider Blued has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by DCM. The company had previously raised $1.6 million earlier this year, and will use the new capital to continue expanding its user base.

MeowChat, a social discovery and messaging app, has raised $8 million in a round of funding from undisclosed investors. The company will use the new capital for pursuing acquisitions and simplifying the apps design.

Mommy Nearest, provider of a geo-location mobile app for parents and caregivers, has acquired Slidelane, which provides an online parenting resource and a marketing platform for small businesses. The acquisition follows in line with the company’s strategy to expand on the west-cost. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mobile video engagement platform provider Incoming Media has raised $4.9 million in Series A funding from OneVentures and Intel Capital. The company will use the new capital for expanding its R&D efforts and extending into new geographic and vertical markets.

RTL Group has acquired a majority stake in SpotXchange, provider of a video advertising platform, from H.I.G. Partners.  The acquisition comes after RTL’s previous $144 million minority purchased in July. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Wanderu, provider of a meta-search engine for bus and train tickets, has raised $5.6 million in Series A funding in a round led by Metamorphic Ventures with participation from Alta Ventures, 500 startups, and Barbara Corcoran Venture Partners. The company will use the new capital for continued expansion in North America and for launching a native app.

Predictive analytics solutions provider L2C has been acquired by TransUnion, a provider of information and risk management solutions. The acquisition augments TransUnion’s technology, and helps the company extend into a broader range of services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

MediaRadar, developer of an intelligence platform for digital and magazine advertising, has raised $6.7 million in a round of funding from Bain Capital Ventures, Mousse Partners, and Founder Collective. The company has raised $20 million to date.

Content discovery company ZergNet, which provides monetization tools for publishers, has raised $3.2 million in Series A funding from GreyCroft Partners, Bertlesmann Digital Media Investments, and Lerer Hippeau Ventures. The funding will allow the company to build out its team and further grow distribution.

CRGT, a provider of custom software development and data analytics for federal government agencies, has been acquired by Bridge Growth Partners from Veritas Capital. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

SaaS firm FilmTrack, which provides rights and content management solutions for the film and television industries, has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by Insight Venture Partners. The company has used the new capital to acquire Dashbox, a cloud-based music asset and metadata management system. The funding and acquisition will allow FilmTrack to scale its operations.

Publishing and communications company SouthComm has acquired a number of tradeshows, website portals, and publications from Cygnus Business Media, a technology B2B media company. Southcomm will retain Cygnus employees. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Gravitant, an enterprise cloud brokerage and management software company, has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Cielo Private Equity with participation from S3 Ventures. The company will use the new capital for expanding its sales and marketing efforts and extending the capabilities of its platform to target new customer segments.

Maritz Holdings has acquired Allegiance Software, a provider of enterprise feedback and management solutions, with the intent to merge the company with its market research arm Maritz Research. The new company will stand alone and by called MaritzCX. The new company plans to fuel growth by making investments in product research. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Aerial data analyzing platform Precisionhawk has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Intel Capital. The company has recently raised $10 million in Series B funding from Millenium Technology Value Partners. The company will use the new capital for enhancing product development and engineering.

Anomaly detection company Prelert, which provides enterprise-level insights into operational risks present in large data sets, has raised $7.5 million in a round of funding led by Intel Capital and Sierra Ventures. The company will use the new capital for expanding its field sales and engineering organizations.

Cyber security solutions provider BlueSpace Federal, which primarily deals with the government sector, has been acquired by Sterling Computers Corporation, a provider of IT services. Bluespace employees will integrate with Sterling technology. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

UK-based Dealogic, a provider of capital market data, analytics, and services, has been acquired by The Carlyle Group for an estimated $700 million. Euromoney Institutional Investor has also invested in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Inrix, a provider of transportation information, analytics, and driver services, has raised $10 million in a round of funding from Intel Capital. The company will use the new funding to develop “smart cities” analytics platforms and applications with Intel.

training

Software-training company Infinite Skills has been acquired by O’Reilly Media, a provider of books, online services, and conferences. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
