CoreCommerce, which provides a SaaS eCommerce platform to retailers, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Lighter Capital. The company plans on using the new capital to grow its operations.


Smarter Remarketer, which provides customer intelligence for multi-channel retailers, has raised $7 million in venture debt financing from City National Bank.


SeatGeek, which provides a ticket search engine, has raised $35 million in Series B funding led by Accel Partners with participation from Causeway Media Partners and individual angel investors. The new capital will be used to expand its product and marketing efforts, with an emphasis on mobile development.


Netherlands-based Toroleo, which operates a website for price and product comparison for the automotive sector, was acquired by Germany-based Delticom (XTRA:DEX), which operates as an online tire retailer. Terms were not disclosed.

Social media management company Social FlyWay was acquired by Good Squire Marketing, which develops and manages both the brand and technical components that go into maintaining an online presence. Terms were not disclosed.

Singapore-based Hipvan, which is an eCommerce platform offering a range of products, has raised $1.4 million in Series A funding led by Toivo Annus and LionRock Capital.


Mizzen+Main, which is an online retailer of menswear, has raised $1.2 million in Series A funding led by VegasTechFund with participation from individual angel investors.

India-based Hike, which provides a mobile messaging application, has raised $65 million in funding led by Tiger Global Management and Bharti Softbank. The company plans on using the new capital to invest in its product and grow its team.

France-based Minutebuzz, which is a provider of online news content, has raised $1.3 million in funding led by Seventure Partners. The company intends on using the new capital to continue to invest in new technological platforms and automation tools.

Wikia, which provides a collaborative publishing platform that enables fans to share their passion and knowledge on subjects that range from video games, movies, TV, and books to cars, cooking, crafts, education, and travel, has raised $15 million in Series D funding led by Digital Garage, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Institutional Venture Partners, Amazon, and Asuka Investments. The company plans on using the new capital to accelerate its global growth.

Taiwan-based KKBOX, which provides online music streaming services, has raised $104 million in funding from GIC. The company plans on using the new capital for international expansion and to refine its technology and service.

Rockbot, which provides a social jukebox service that lets users engage with the music from their smartphone, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Detroit Venture Partners with participation from Susa Ventures, Universal Music Group, XG Ventures, Google Ventures, Accelerator Ventures, and individual angel investors.

Germany-based digital advertising campaign company Brandnew has raised $1.9 million in funding led by Berlin Ventures, PubliGroupe, and individual angel investors. The company plans on using the new capital for technology development, marketing, and sales efforts.

Gas Station Radio, which provides the largest convenience store audio network, was acquired by AllOver Media, which provides out-of-home advertising solutions. The acquisition allows for a heightened gas station advertising presence at AllOver Media’s network of more than 50,000 gas station locations in top markets throughout the United States and Canada. Terms were not disclosed.


NRG Media has acquired four radio stations, which expands its presence in four Midwest states. KOKZ-FM; KFMW-FM, KXEL-AM and KWLO-AM were purchased from Woodward Communications. Terms were not disclosed.

LeapPay, which provides online invoice payment services, was acquired by Funding Circle, which operates an online marketplace that helps small businesses find financing.  Funding Circle will integrate LeapPay’s real time, data capture technology into its proprietary underwriting process. Terms were not disclosed.



Argentina-based online legal software provider Quolaw was acquired by vLex Networks, which provides online legal information solutions.  The acquisition expands vLex’s footprint in Latin America and boosts the firm’s product range. Terms were not disclosed.

InContext Solutions, a provider of web-based 3D virtual store environments for research, collaborative store planning, and eCommerce, has raised $12 million in Series D funding led by Beringea with participation from Plymouth Venture Partners and Hyde Park Venture Partners.

PatSnap, which provides an online or in-house patent search and analytic services, has raised $3.6 million in Series A funding led by Vertex Venture Partners.
