SFW Capital Partners has sold AGDATA, which provides strategic data and analytical solutions to agricultural and animal health industry, to Vista Equity Partners. SFW Capital Partners had acquired AGDATA back in 2010. Terms were not disclosed.

Fixed, which provides a mobile application that helps users fight parking tickets, has raised $1.2 million in funding led by Y Combinator and Merus Capital with participation from individual investors. The company plans on using the new capital to increase marketing efforts and hire team members.

Eventful, which operates an events platform that enables users to discover, track, promote, and share events, was acquired by CBS Local Media. Eventful had raised $19.6 million in funding from DFJ, Omidyar Network, Bay Partners, and Telefonica Ventures.

My City Venue, which provides an online events platform, was acquired by UK-based Secret Escapes, which provides a luxury travel site that specializes in flash sales. The acquisition bolsters Secret Escapes’ events side of the business. Secret Escapes has raised $13 million from Index Ventures, Octopus Ventures, and Atlas Venture.

Viator, which operates a one-stop-shop for researching, planning and booking tours and activities all over the globe via Viator.com, was acquired by TripAdvisor (Nasdaq:TRIP), which operates an online travel company, for $200 million.

Intigua, a provider of monitoring, management, and security software for enterprise cloud applications, has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by Intel Capital with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and Cedar Fund. The company intends to use the funds for global sales, marketing and development efforts.

Carigo, which provides content storage software solutions, has raised $5 million in funding from undisclosed investors.

Dataflow, which provides a computing accounting system, was acquired by The EQT Mid Market Fund. Terms were not disclosed.

IOIx Software, which develops web-based tools to assist agents with quotes, plan comparisons, subsidy calculations, enrollment, and client management, was acquired by Ritter Insurance Marketing, which operates as an insurance marketing firm specializing in senior life and health insurance products. With this acquisitions Ritter has formed a new company, eBroker Software. Terms were not disclosed.

Essence Group Holdings, which develops and provides technology solutions to healthcare providers, has raised $71 million in funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Sandbox Industries, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Venture Partners, and Camden Partners. The company, which has now raised $141 million in funding, plans on using the new capital to expand its operations in additional markets.

CrowdCurity, which provides crowd sourced web security, has raised $1 million in seed funding from Kima Ventures with participation from individual investors.
