India-based What’s-ON, which operates as a television search, was acquired for $27 million by Tribune Digital Ventures.

AddShoppers, which provides a social marketing and analytics platform for eCommerce companies, has acquired Sociaby, a provider of a platform for social sharing and customer rewards. Terms were not disclosed.

Webydo, which provides a cloud-based website creation platform, raised $7 million in funding led by OurCrowd and Magna Ventures. The company plans on using the new capital to continue developing new features.

Wayin, which owns and operates social networking applications, has raised $13.1 million in Series C funding from U.S. Venture Partners and  individual investors. The company, which has now raised $33.1 million in funding, plans on using the new capital to expand its reach to TV networks, brands, agencies, and publishers globally.

Canada-based Busbud, which is a company offering a local search website for intercity bus travel, has raised $9 million in Series A funding co-led by Omers Ventures and Revolution Ventures, with participation from iNovia Capital and Real Ventures. The company had previously raised $1 million in seed funding.

RackWare, a provider of cloud management software solutions for enterprises, has raised $2.3 million in funding led by Kickstart Seed Fund and Osage Venture Partners. The company, which has now raised more than $7 million in funding to date, plans on using the new capital to develop its product, increase sales and marketing operations, and expand its presence into Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

UK-based Zynstra, which provides cloud managed server appliances for small and medium sized businesses, has raised $8.4 million in Series B funding led by Octopus Investments and individual investors. The company, which has raised over $12.5 million in funding to date, intends on using the funds to develop its channel, further invest in product innovation, and support entry into the North American market.

mNectar, a developer of  virtualization technology and a cloud delivery platform, has raised $7 million in Series A funding led  by New Enterprise Associates. The company plans on using the new capital to expand its leadership, engineering and business teams.

Credit Benchmark, which provides credit risk data and analytics, has raised $7 million in Series A funding led by Index Ventures. The company plans on using the new capital to expand its presence in the U.S.

ATS Automation Tooling Systems (TSX:ATA) has acquired Germany-based M+W Process Automation and ProFocus, which are providers of automation services and solutions focused on performance monitoring and measurement of production processes, for approximately $338.4 million.

Social Solutions, which provides performance management and nonprofit software solutions for human social services organizations, was acquired by Vista Equity Partners. Terms were not disclosed.

Duetto Research, a provider of cloud-based revenue management solutions for the hospitality industry, has raised $21 million in funding led by Accel Partners, with participation from Battery Ventures, Altimeter Capital, Leland Pillsbury, and individual investors. The company plans on using the new capital to extend its global reach.

RTS Realtime Systems, which provides market connectivity and trading tools to the financial services industry, was acquired by Bloomberg. The acquisition will broaden Bloomberg’s exchange connectivity through RTS’s existing global network of data centers. Terms were not disclosed.

BirdDog, which provides recruitment and applicant tracking solutions, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by Next Level Ventures with participation from Bridgepoint Investment Partners.  The company plans on using the new capital to expand its SaaS product offering and grow its customer base.

Israel-based Neebula, which develops business service management (BSM) tools to manage virtual environments and IT clouds, was acquired for $100 million by ServiceNow (NYSE:NOW), which provides cloud-based services to automate enterprise IT operations. This addition will become an integral part of the ServiceNow IT Operations Management portfolio.

communications software

Crowd Connex, which provides secure online video conferencing services, was acquired by Halberd Corporation (OTCPK:HALB), which  manufactures and sells aerospace technologies. Terms were not disclosed.

contact center

UK-based NewVoiceMedia, which provides cloud-based contact center vendor, has raised $50 million in Series E funding led by Technology Crossover Ventures, with participation from Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden ventures, Notion Capital, and Salesforce.com. The company, which has now raised $105 million in funding, will use the new capital to accelerate international expansion, further develop its cloud solutions, and strengthen its infrastructure.

Green Street Advisors, which offers research, trading, and consulting services, was acquired by private equity firm Golden Gate Capital. Terms were not disclosed.
