Social scrapbooking site Pinterest, has raised $200 million in Series F funding at a $5 billion valuation, which is up from $3.8 billion seven months ago. The round was led by SV Angel, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, FirstMark Capital, Fidelity Investments, and Valiant Capital Partners. The new capital will help Pinterest expand its website, which began executing its plan to generate revenue from advertising this week.

Health insurance startup Oscar has raised $75 million in Series A funding at a $800 million valuation. The new round of funding was led by Formation9, with participation from Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst Partners, and Thrive Capital.  The company, which has now raised $150 million to-date, will use the new capital to hire team members and expand offices.

Compare Metrics, which makes product discovery and analytics software for online businesses, has raised $3.8 million in funding led by Austin Ventures. The new capital brings the company’s round to a total of $4.2 million.

OpenGov, a developer of Web apps for analyzing and sharing government data, has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Formation 8 and Thrive Capital. With the new funding the company intends on scaling its business and expanding the adoption of its software.

Soldsie, which provides tools that enable businesses to sell products within comments on Facebook, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by First Round Capital, with participation from SoftTech VC, Lerer Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Greak Oaks Ventures, e.Ventures, 500 Startups. The new capital brings the round total to $5.6 million.

Sweden-based real-time customer profile platform Innometrics, has raised $5 million in Series A funding led by SEB Venture Capital, with participation from Fortunator Invest. The company plans on using the new capital to invest in sales and marketing and continue to enhance its platform.

Search engine for GIFs Giphy, has raised $2.4 million in Series A funding led by betaworks, Lerer Ventures, RRE Ventures, and CAA Ventures.

SpoonRocket, a startup that delivers healthy meals in 10 minutes or less, has raised $11 million in Series A funding led by Foundation Capital. The company intends on using the new capital raised to bring on more staff members and expand into other markets.

Quest Visual, a developer of an application that enables users to translate signs with their smartphone cameras, was acquired by Google (Nasdaq:GOOG).  With the acquisition, Google will incorporate Quest Visual’s technology into Google Translate’s broad language coverage and translation capabilities in the future. Terms were not disclosed.

Click With Me Now, a Software-as-a-Service application that enables Internet users to share their current Web session with the friends, family members, or advisors, has raised $2.3 million in funding led by private investors. The company has now raised a total of $3.1 million in funding over four rounds, which includes a debt financing.

.Com Marketing, an interactive agency that specializes in lead-generating search marketing, was acquired by digital marketing agency EdgeCore. .Com Marketing reported $1.5 million in 2013 revenue. Terms were not disclosed.

Costa Rica-based digital agency Darwin Zone, which provides digital marketing campaign management, social media, search engine marketing, and analytics, was acquired for $2.4 million by Lionbridge Technologies (Nasdaq:LIOX), a provider of language, content, and testing solutions worldwide. Terms were not disclosed.

Local marketing firm Oomph, was acquired by marketing and eCommerce company Groove. Terms were not disclosed.

Software

Belgium-based Odoo (fka OpenERP), a provider of open source ERP solutions, has raised $10 million in funding led by XAnge, SRIW, and Sofinnova Partners. The company plans on using the new capital for its R&D efforts and commercial growth.

healthcare software

Health Advocate, which provides healthcare advocacy and assistance services and solutions, was acquired by technology-driven communication services provider West Corporation (Nasdaq:WSTC), for $265 million. In 2013, Health Advocate had revenue of approximately $86 million.

security software

Security solutions company BlackBridge Technology, has raised $22 million in funding led by BMO and Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). The new funding will contribute to the development of the company’s new solutions.
