Kamcord, which offers tools that enable individuals to record and share mobile gameplay videos, has raised $7.1 million in Series A funding led by Translink Capital, with participation from SV Angel, Klab, M&Y Growth Partners, Innovation Works, XG Ventures, and individual investors. The company intends on using the funds to further develop its new app and accelerate adoption of its gameplay recording solution in Asia.

Israel-based Otonomic, a platform that enables business owners to create a website from their Facebook page, has raised $1 million in funding led by RDSeed, with participation form individual investors.

The RealReal, a company operating an online consignment store for luxury goods, has raised $20.4 million in funding led by InterWest Partners, Canaan Partners, e.ventures, Greycroft Partners, Novel TMT Ventures,and Panarea Capital. The company has raised $41.9 million in funding to date.

Turkey-based mobile media agency and mobile technology company aMVG, has sold a majority stake to wholly-owned global media investment management company GroupM. The acquisition will enable WPP to continue its expansion worldwide. aMVG’s unaudited revenues for  2013 were $4.2 million.

Tvinci, which operates an over-the-top television (TV) platform for pay TV and multi-play operators, broadcasters, and media companies, was acquired by Kaltura, which designs and develops online video solutions. With the acquisition, Kaltura will accelerate Tvinci’s growth and upgrade its offering in order to provide end-to-end Paid OTT TV offering in the global market. Terms were not disclosed.

Romance novel publisher Harlequin Enterprises, was acquired by News Corp. (Nasdaq:NQWA) from Torstar Corp (TSX:TS), for $415 million at a valuation of 1.1x revenue and 8.1x EBITDA. News Corp. will fold Harlequin into its HarperCollins Publishers unit. Harlequin, which publishes books in 34 languages sold in 102 countries, will expand HarperCollins’ reach to 11 new nations.

Cloud storage company MakeSpace Labs, has raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Upfront Ventures, with participation from Founders Fund, OATV, with participation from Lowercase Capital, High Peaks Ventures Partners, and Collaborative Fund. The company, which has now raised $10.1 million in funding, will use the new capital to introduce products, expand operations, and maintain customer services.

Lecorpio, a provider of an Intellectual Property (IP) management and analytics platform, has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by M2O. The company plans on using the new capital raised to expand its team, accelerate product development, and support its base of enterprise customers.

MDVIP, a provider of personalized healthcare services that assist physicians and institutions, was acquired by Summit Partners from The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG). Terms were not disclosed.
