Mobli Media, an Israel-based mobile photo and video sharing platform, has raised $60 million in funding led by América Móvil. The company had previously raised approximately $28 million, $22 million of which came from private investors.

Social relationship platform Sprinklr has raised $17.5 million in Series C funding from return backers Battery Ventures and Intel Capital. This brings the company’s total amount of money raised to date to $37.5 million.

Zomato Media, an India-based company providing a restaurant search engine, has raised $37 million funding at a $165 valuation in led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Info Edge (India) (BSE:532777). The company also operates as a marketing engine for restaurants through promotions and advertisements on the Website.

Gainsight, a provider of customer success management solutions, has raised $20 million in Series B funding from Summit Partners and return backer Battery Ventures. Gainsight’s tools enable customer-driven enterprises to proactively manage retention, reduce unexpected churn, and identify upsell opportunities using customer intelligence and automation.

GeoPoll, a mobile survey platform provider, has raised $6.6 million in Series A funding from unnamed investors. This brings the company’s total investments to $11.6 million.

Tailwind, a developer of a Pinterest analytics and marketing platform that helps brands understand how they’re being discussed on the site, has raised $1 million in seed funding from i2e, Seedstep Angels, and others.

Terascala, a provider of storage software and systems, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding co-led by Ascent Venture Partners, Harborlight Capital Partners, and Thomas Weisel Partners. The company also secured venture debt financing from Bridge Bank.

Betable, a platform that enables developers to legally offer real-money play in their own games, has raised $18.5 million in funding led by Venture51, with participation from return backers Greylock Partners and Founders Fund.

Primary Data, a company offering software-defined data center technologies, has raised $50 million in Series A funding led by Accel Partners, with participation from Battery Ventures, Pelion Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Wing Capital Group.



Imaging Solutions, a full service provider of enterprise content management solutions, has been acquired by Databank IMX, a portfolio company of Svoboda Capital Partners providing outsourced imaging and information solutions, including document scanning, indexing, physical and electronic document storage, and software to manage information. Terms were not disclosed.


Passport Health Communications, which offers data, analytics, and software in the U.S. healthcare payments market, was acquired for $850 million by information services company Experian (LSE:EXPN), which provides data and analytical tools to organizations. Sellers are Spectrum Equity Investors and Great Hill Partners, which acquired a majority interest in 2008 for $232 million. Experian’s purchase values Passport Health Communications at 7x revenue and 28.3x EBITDA based on 2013 expected financials.

ShapeUp, a provider of clinically-proven social networking and incentives-based employee wellness programs, has raised $5 million in equity funding from Cue Ball Capital and Excel Venture Management. The company also secured $2.5 million in venture debt from Silicon Valley Bank.


IID (Internet Identity), a provider of shared cyber intelligence solutions, has raised $8 million in Series A funding from Bessemer Venture Partners.

Germany-based Impacore, which offers performance ratings for multinational companies, has sold a majority equity stake in Germany-based private equity firm BayBG. Impacore offers performance rating services for individual projects and portfolios, IT and HR consultants, IT providers, law firms, accounting firms, engineering firms, EPC consultants, and other professional service providers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
