China-based VIVA Information Technology, a provider of mobile media applications including magazines, and radio, has raised $20 million in funding led by an undisclosed investor. This brings the company’s total investments raised to $40 million.

Snapverse, an application that combines user videos with licensed music, has raised $3.5 million in funding led by an individual investor. The company also announced a partnership with Universal, Warner Brothers, and Sony.

Aggregate Knowledge, a provider of campaign and audience analytics for agencies and advertisers, trading desks, ad networks, DSPs and SSPs, publishers, and developers, was acquired by Neustar (NYSE: NSR) for $119 million. Aggregate Knowledge will provide Neustar with highly scalable data management solutions that many of their existing consumers already utilize in conjunction with their data analytic services.

9Lenses, a company offering a cloud-based platform that improves the intelligence and analytic capability of management and professionals in enterprises and SMEs, has raised $1.1 million in funding led by Kinetic Ventures, Icon Venture Partners, and the Corporate Executive Company. The company’s software uses a proprietary interview engine and analytics package to diagnose organizational strengths, challenges, and focus areas.

Mobile Technology

India-based Apps Daily Solutions, a provider of an offline mobile application distribution platform, has raised $5 million in Series B funding from ru-Net Holdings, IndoUS Venture Partners, and Qualcomm. The funds will primarily be used to expand the company’s product offering and retail distribution reach, as well as for talent acquisition.

SFA/Lead Management

Revenew, which provides a technology platform enabling a network of manufacturers, resellers, and industry groups to promote brands, has raised $5 million in funding led by Allos Ventures. Revenew’s cloud-based business networking platform enables its members to build target databases, access marketing content and funds online, customize and co-brand integrated campaigns, and track results. Terms were not disclosed.

Application Management

Idera, a provider of management and administrative tools for Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, and Windows PowerShell, has sold its SharePoint Business products to MetalogixThe acquisition of Idera’s SharePoint products, customer base, brands, and all related assets will allow Metalogix to strengthen the company’s position as a SharePoint independent software vendor. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Runnable, a developer of a cloud-based platform to share, edit, and run live coding, has raised $2 million in funding from Sierra Ventures, 500 Startups, AngelPad, and Resolute Ventures.

healthcare

SymphonyCare, a company offering population health and care management solutions, was acquired by MEDSEEK, which offers patient, physician, and employee portals for healthcare organizations to engage relationships with physicians, patients, employees, and consumers. Terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands MEDSEEK’s capabilities in the emerging population healthcare management market.

Infastructure

Soluto, an Israel-based start-up providing online PC management solutions for small business’ IT departments and IT providers, was acquired by Asurion, a company offering technology protection solutions, for $130 million. In addition to its PC management solutions, Soluto provides mobile protection tools as well.

Security

Trustev, an Ireland-based provider of real time online identity verification solutions  that use social fingerprinting technology, has raised $3 million in funding led by Greycroft Partners, with participation from Mangrove Capital Partners, ACT Venture Capital, Telefónica’s Wayra, and Enterprise Ireland. Trustev has built its software for retailers, consumers, and developers.
