UK-based Yoyo, which has developed a mobile platform that unites simple payment methods with integrated loyalty programs and sharing functionalities, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding to launch its platform. The round included participation from a number of individual investors.

Netrada North America (fka FillTek), a provider of end-to-end eCommerce solutions, was acquired for an undisclosed amount by Bregal Sagemount, from Germany-based Netrada Holding. No financial terms were disclosed. The company’s solutions include website and eCommerce platform development, demand management/digital marketing, fulfillment services, logistics management, customer support/financial services, and TradeGlobal (international checkout, duties, and logistics management).

Crowdnub, which operates a platform that allows brands to build and launch customized social apps across various devices and social platforms, has been acquired by India-based Kuliza Technologies, a provider of social technologies that enable users to conceptualize, design, and build online communities and networks, social apps and games, social commerce platforms, and social CRM tools. The company was purchased from India-based Adepto Soalutions, a company offering social commerce solutions for eCommerce business, for an undisclosed amount.

MarketMeSuite, a social media management and marketing platform for small- and medium-sized businesses, has raised $1.25 million in funding from Talus Holdings, a media technology holding company. The company’s software suite enables companies to organize, prioritize, engage, and find value in social interactions.

Social media marketing services company Marketing Divaz, whose services include blog/content creation, Website design, social media marketing, and search solutions, has been acquired by Juicy Results, an Internet marketing agency serving small businesses. Terms were not disclosed.

Virtustream, a provider of enterprise cloud solutions, has raised $40 million in Series D funding from SAP (DB:SAP). Past backers include QuestMark Capital, Intel Capital, Columbia Capital, Noro-Moseley Partners, and TDF. The investment brings Virtustream’s total investments to approximately $120 million and will help the company scale out its infrastructure.

FleetCor Technologies (NYSE: FLT) has acquired VB Servicos, a provider of transportation cards and vouchers in Brazil. It also has agreed to acquire DB Trans SA, a provider of payment solutions for independent truckers in Brazil. The two deals are valued at a total of $300 million.

Calastone, which operates a cross-border transaction network for the global funds industry, has announced an $18 million round of funding led by Accel Partners, with participation from existing investor Octopus Investments. Calastone was launched in 2007 with the objective of reducing the cost and risks associated with mutual fund transaction processing.

EA Holdings, the parent company of health information exchange businesses National Electronic Attachment (NEA) and Medical Electronic Attachment (MEA), has sold a majority stake to Accel-KKR. No financial terms were disclosed. Sellers include Polaris Partners. NEA and MEA offer solutions that enable the capture, transmission and storage of medical and dental information such as medical attachments (e.g., x-rays, test reports, etc.), records and audits.

NextDocs, a provider of regulated content management and clinical trial compliance solutions, has raised $13.5 million in funding led by OpenView Venture Partners, with participation from Eastward Capital and Bridgebank Capital. The funding adds to the $5 million the company raised in in July, and brings its total investments to nearly $30 million.

Enclarity, health care provider data and information solutions company, has been acquired by content-enabled workflow solutions provider LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The deal will enable LexisNexis to add Enclarity’s health care provider data to its existing analytics platforms and workflows, and help customers contain health care costs and improve the quality of health care outcomes. Terms were not disclosed.

Ireland-based ReferStar, a talent acquisition platform that leverages social media for referrals, has raised $1.6 million in Series A funding led by Granicus Ventures.

Amor Business Technology Solutions, a company providing business technology solutions, along with professional and managed IT services that cater to energy, transport, and public sectors, was acquired by Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT). For the year ended December 31, 2012 Amor Business Technology Solutions reported revenues of £57.2 million ($93 million). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
