Russia-based Lamoda, an online fashion retailer incubated by Rocket Internet, has raised $130 million in funding led by Access Industries, with participation from Summit Partners and Tengelmann.

Israel-based Waze, which operates a social traffic and navigation app based on a community of drivers sharing real time road information, has been acquired by Google (NasdaqgS:GOOG), for $1.1 billion. Waze had raised approximately $67 million in funding from Blue Run Ventures, Magma, Vertex, Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers, and Horizon Ventures.

MyWebGrocer, which offers Web and digital marketing services for brick-and-mortar grocers, is being acquired by Huntsman Gay Global Capital, from Stripes Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. But people briefed on the matter said the size of HGGC’s investment was on the higher end of its deal range of $25 million to $100 million.

Local Yokel Media, which offers a digital ad platform specializing in monetizing hyper-local ad impressions, has closed its first institutional round of funding. Participating in the $2.15 million round were lead investor Connecticut Innovations, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, and Gold Ridge Asset Management. The company’s platform helps hyper-local publishers earn more revenue by monetizing ad impressions through geo-contextually relevant ad campaigns that enhance their content and improve their user experience.

InternMatch, an online platform that connects college students with companies, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by ARTIS Ventures and Subtraction Capital, as well as follow-on investors including Kapor Capital and 500 Startups. InternMatch, which launched in 2009, has now raised a total of just over $6 million in funding.

BrightEdge, a company that offers tools for search engine optimization and content marketing, has raised $42.8 million in Series D funding led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Intel Capital, Battery Ventures, Altos Ventures and Illuminate Ventures. The company has now raised more than $63 million total. The company’s content marketing features include the ability to measure traffic, revenue, and engagement on content across search, social, mobile, and other digital channels; to find popular topics on Twitter and tie them into the brand content that’s getting the best results; and to forecast the financial impact of a content marketing campaign before it launches.

Sweden-based iZettle, a provider of local mobile payment solutions, has raised €5 million ($6.7 million) in funding from Banco Santander. iZettle currently provides smaller merchants in seven European markets a smartphone-based app combined with either a €99 chip and PIN or a €25 chip and signature device to take payments from major credit cards.

Jonathan Roberts Associates, a certified woman’s business enterprise offering staffing solutions, has been acquired by Howard-Sloan Professional Search, an executive search firm specializing in the placement of tech professionals. Terms were not disclosed.
